1904
Founded as “Kondo-gumi” in Wakamatsu, Fukuoka Prefecture
1925
Established maritime affairs section
Dismantled and removed the battleship “General Admiral Apraksin” with a displacement tonnage of 4800 tons which had been stranded and then neglected on the coasts of Fukuoka. This battleship worked for Japanese Navy as a war bounty of the Battle of Tsushima on May 27th and 28th in 1905.
1937
Established Marine Salvage Section based on developed techniques of surfacing, removal, dismantling and floating crane operation.
Established Established maritime affairs section
1944
Moved to Kure Port as conscripted salvage workers with all vessels and materials
1945
Moved back to Wakamatsu after the end of World War II
1946
Changed business name to “Kondo Marine Industries”
Catamaran crane vessel “Yorozu-maru” with a maximum lift capacity of 400 tons built
Removed more than 200 sunken vessels in Kanmon- Dokai gulf for free with the largest crane in Japan of the days and made a contribution for opening a port.
1963
Yawata Iron & Steel Co., Ltd designated our company heavy cargo handling operator with floating crane.
Established solid business footing in off-shore engineering field
1968
Established marine transport section with a deck barge
Established towing section with ocean tug boats
